Do you want to change the world?

Then you have OPTIONS in engineering and computer science! The University of Evansville OPTIONS for High School Girls teaches participants about the exciting and rewarding career opportunities available in engineering and computer science.

The experience features:

  • Classes taught by University of Evansville engineering and computer science professors.
  • Hands-on projects.
  • Mentoring by professional women working in these fields.
  • Team- and confidence-building exercises.
  • Experiencing life on a college campus.
  • Participants receive UE college scholarships totaling $5,000 (over four years).

If you know of any young women who would be interested or who would benefit from this experience, encourage them to apply.

  • Who: High School Girls currently in grades 9, 10, or 11 who have completed geometry. Priority given to first-time high school camp attendees.

  • When: TBD, 2021

  • Where: The University of Evansville Campus, Evansville, Indiana

  • Cost: $500 (includes all costs).

Note: This is a residential camp. Visitors are not allowed. Participants must remain with the group whether on or off campus. Transportation to off-campus activities will be provided by the staff using University or rental vehicles.

Because graduates of the OPTIONS for High School Girls program are awarded scholarships totaling $5,000 (over four years)for study upon acceptance as a full time student in any degree granting program at the University of Evansville. In addition, those who apply for admission to the School of Engineering and Computer Science will have priority consideration for other financial aid opportunities.
